• Google Calendar Data: Read and write access to your calendars (via calendar and calendar.events scopes) to functionality create and manage events based on your syllabus data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect for the following specific purposes:

• Authentication: To verify your identity and maintain your session.
• Service Functionality: To analyze syllabus content you upload and automatically add corresponding events, deadlines, and reminders to your Google Calendar.

We do not sell your data to advertisers or other third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Transfer

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except in the following limited usage:

• AI Processing: Syllabus text content may be processed by AI providers (such as Google Gemini API) solely for the purpose of extracting event details. This data is not used to train public AI models.

We only retain your Google access tokens for the duration of your active session. We do not store your calendar events or personal emails on our servers effectively after the specific operation is complete.

6. Limited Use Disclosure

BootlegCalendar's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
